Chery premium crossover gets to Russia in 2020

The Chinese company Chery intends to bring to the Russian market a premium crossover Exeed, developed jointly with  Jaguar Land Rover . At least one car has already been imported into the country to show dealers, and sales are expected to begin in 2020.
Exeed (derived from the English “exceed” – “outperform”) is not a model name, but a sub-brand, founded by Chery. Today, the lineup includes the TX crossover and its long version TXL, which debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2017. The first foreign market for the model was the United Arab Emirates, where Chery has already launched an advertising campaign.
In Russia, Chery certifies a car that was brought to Moscow in late spring to be shown to dealers. He received a rich set of equipment that includes LED lights, a multimedia system with a 10-inch touch screen, voice recognition system, access to the Web, a panoramic roof and automatic background lighting of the cabin.
In terms of size, the Exeed TX with the  Nissan X-Trail is equipped with a 190-horsepower 1.6-liter gasoline engine in combination with a seven-step “robot”, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
