Dozens of American teachers refused Russian visa

The Russian authorities did not give visas to 30 teachers of the Moscow Anglo-American school. About this writes The New York Times.
As noted, children of foreign diplomats and businessmen study at this school. The school was established by the authorities of English-speaking countries in 1949. It has about 150 teachers, among them there are Russians, but most of them are native speakers of English from abroad.
According to US officials, the incident is an attempt of political influence on the American side. The president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, Alexis Rodzianko, noted that because of what happened, the parents of some students might feel different about their work in Russia.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian national team coach was banned from entering the United States.
