Straight hair
Recommended haircut and styling: suitable haircut with a blunt straight cut – so the hairstyle will look more voluminous. For thick straight hair, it is better to make a haircut in several layers to give them mobility.
How to take care: straight hair becomes oily very quickly, so you need to wash it more often and use talcum powder or dry shampoo on intermediate days. A good substitute for dry shampoo is styling powder or baby powder. For fine hair, shampoos and conditioners that give volume will be a find. When drying hair with a direct hair dryer, you need to tilt your head down and use a round brush to achieve even greater volume at the roots.
Ideal mask: from egg white and lemon juice. Egg white is a natural conditioner that restores hair structure like keratin. Lemon juice absorbs excess fat and accumulated dirt on the scalp. Vitamin C strengthens hair in lemon, and its acidic environment restores the acid-base balance of the skin and copes with dandruff.
Preparation: Mix lemon juice and one protein in a bowl. We put on wet hair, put on a shower cap and wait for 30-40 minutes. Wash off with cool water, and then wash my head in the usual way.
Wavy hair
Recommended haircut and styling: the required volume for thin wavy hair can give a multi-layered haircut. If the hair texture is thicker, then long hair will be the best option. The shorter the haircut, the stronger the hair, because it becomes light and elastic.
How to care: hair of this type has a thicker structure than straight hair. The main stage of care for such hair – moisturizing. Looking for suitable moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, as well as a moisturizing mask once a week. To prevent excessive fluffiness, we apply after each shampooing head mousse for laying from root to tip. In addition, starting from the middle, distribute some hair oil. Do not apply oil and conditioner on the roots, otherwise the hair will look dirty.
Ideal mask: from coconut oil and honey. Coconut oil nourishes the hair with necessary moisture, keeps them soft and prevents fragility. It penetrates the hair deeper than normal conditioner, so the hair looks more silky. Honey also has moisturizing properties. It also softens the hair and adds shine to it.
Preparation: heat one tablespoon of coconut oil on a low heat, add a tablespoon of honey. Apply the mixture on the hair, put on a cap and maintain the mask for 15–20 minutes. Then wash off with shampoo.
Curly hair
Recommended haircut and styling: you need to regularly trim the tips in order to maintain a healthy look of hair. And so curly hair can be worn long or short and not worry about the shape of a haircut. To fix the curls in the desired position, you need to apply a mousse or gel for styling wet hair.
How to take care: a special shampoo and conditioner for curly hair will help to retain moisture so that the hair does not overdry or fluff. Wash curly hair once or twice a week. In this case, the shampoo is applied only to the roots, and indelible conditioner – only for the length. Strongly curly hair is better to dry naturally, and remove excess moisture with a microfiber towel or cotton T-shirt.
Ideal mask: from olive oil and sugar. Olive oil is a natural conditioner for dry and curly hair. It moisturizes the hair, gives them shine and silkiness. Sugar is used as a peeling agent.
Preparation: Mix one tablespoon of olive oil and two tablespoons of brown sugar. Apply the mask for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
