In the strict regime zone, a prisoner found an “apartment” with leather chairs and the Internet

A criminal case was initiated against one of the leaders of the strict regime penal colony in Tyumen: according to the investigators, he received a bribe from a convict for creating comfortable conditions for him. About this on Friday, June 28, reports the regional administration of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
The head of the colony was charged under part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Receiving a bribe on a large scale”), he was arrested by a court decision.
According to the investigation, from March 2018 to May 2019, the accused each month received 100 thousand rubles from the prisoner. For this, the head of the colony provided the convict with a separate “apartment” located in the shop on the territory of the colony.
As can be seen from the photos published in the TFR, the room was renovated. Convicted with the knowledge of the head of the colony, he lived in this “apartment”, used the telephone, watched TV, and also used the Internet and a refrigerator. Currently, investigators are investigating whether there are other crimes on the head of the colony.
