Students helped Alfa Romeo develop prototype Gloria sedan

Alfa Romeo will show in Geneva not only the production version of the 4C sports coupe, but also the new Gloria concept sports sedan.

The appearance of the Alfa Romeo Gloria concept was developed by the European Design Institute (IED) in Turin in conjunction with the design center Alfa Romeo Style Center.

The length of the prototype is 4.7 meters, width – 1.92 meters, and height – 1.32 meters. The wheelbase reaches 2.9 meters. In its dimensions, Gloria is very close to the Audi A5 Sportback liftback. The prototype must be driven by biturbo V6 or V8 engines used on the Maserati Quattroporte.

The car is designed for buyers from North America and Asia. “In fact, the sedan is a symbol of elegance and prestige for these markets, where cars with a comfortable and spacious interior are valued, and the length of the model emphasizes these qualities,” reads the press release Alfa Romeo.
